How it works
- A user triggers a feature, such as summarising a record or drafting a message.
- The system collects only the information needed and permitted for that user.
- It sends the request to Gemini through Google's API, from the server.
- The response comes back to the screen for review before anything is saved or sent.

Good to know
- Data terms differ between Google AI Studio's free use and paid or Vertex AI use. For business data, we use the option whose terms fit your requirements.
- Vertex AI lets you choose the region where requests are processed, which can matter for data residency.
- Usage is billed by Google to your account, at rates Google sets per model.
