How it works
- Products, variants and prices are published from the business system to Shopify, matched by SKU.
- Stock changes from any sales channel update Shopify's inventory level for the relevant location.
- When a customer orders, Shopify sends a webhook, and the system creates the order and allocates stock.
- When the order ships, the fulfilment and tracking number are sent back to Shopify, which notifies the customer.

Good to know
- Shopify limits how fast an app can make API requests, so large catalogues are synced in batches.
- Shopify can track stock per location. We agree which of your locations feed the online store.
- Customer details on orders are personal data and are handled only for fulfilling and billing the order.
