We connect dispatch records in your system to Blue Dart's waybill and tracking services.
Businesses that send documents, samples or high-value parcels often rely on Blue Dart. When waybills are created from the dispatch record and tracking updates come back automatically, staff stop re-typing addresses and customers get accurate updates on their shipments.
What we build with it
- Generating a waybill against a dispatch
- Recording the tracking number on the order
- Checking delivery status without a portal login
- Checking pin-code serviceability before dispatch
How it works
- A dispatch is prepared in the system with the consignee's address and package details.
- The system sends the details to Blue Dart and receives a waybill number and printable label.
- The waybill number is saved on the order, and the customer can be sent a tracking link.
- The system checks tracking regularly and updates the order until the consignment is delivered or returned.
Data exchanged
- Consignee address and contact
- Package details
- Waybill number and status
What is needed to set it up
- A Blue Dart corporate account
- API licence key and credentials
- Registered pickup locations
Good to know
- API access is provided by Blue Dart for corporate account holders and is arranged through your account manager.
- Charges are billed by Blue Dart on your account, under the terms you have agreed with them.
- Product types, such as priority or ground services, affect delivery time and cost, so the default choice is agreed at setup.
