It suits processes that are more involved than a single trigger and action, such as routing an order to different teams or reshaping data before it reaches another tool.

How it works
- A Make scenario starts with a custom webhook, and its address is registered in your system for chosen events.
- When an event occurs, the system sends the details to Make.
- The scenario processes the data through its steps — filters, routers, lookups and formatting.
- Results are sent to other services, or back to the business system through its API.

Good to know
- Make charges by the number of operations a scenario performs, on your own Make plan. Complex scenarios on busy events use more operations.
- Data passes through Make's cloud, so consider which fields are sent, and whether Make's data region suits you.
- Scenarios should have error handling configured, so a failed step is noticed rather than silently skipped.
