How it works
- A customer chooses a plan or is sent an invoice, and the system creates a Stripe checkout session or payment request.
- The customer pays on Stripe's hosted page or a Stripe payment form, so card details never touch your system.
- Stripe sends signed webhook events for successful payments, renewals, failures and cancellations.
- The system verifies each event and updates the customer's invoice, subscription status and access accordingly.

- Stripe's availability and onboarding for businesses registered in India have changed over time. We confirm your eligibility with Stripe before planning around it.
- Recurring card payments from Indian cards are subject to RBI e-mandate rules, which can require the customer to approve renewals.
- Stripe's fees are charged on your own account, at rates set by Stripe for your country and payment type.
