We connect counter and invoice payments in your system to UPI collection through your bank or payment provider.
UPI is the everyday payment method for Indian customers, but a fixed QR code on the counter leaves someone to match each credit to a bill. Generating a code or request per bill, carrying the amount and a reference, means the system can tell exactly which bill was paid.
What we build with it
- Displaying a QR per bill at the counter
- Sending a payment request against an invoice
- Matching a UPI reference to a receipt
How it works
- A bill or invoice is saved with the amount due.
- The system generates a dynamic UPI QR code or payment link containing the amount and a unique reference, through your bank or provider.
- The customer scans or taps it in any UPI app and approves the payment with their UPI PIN.
- Your bank or provider notifies the system of the result, and the receipt is recorded with the UPI reference number.
Data exchanged
- Amount and transaction note
- UPI reference number
- Payment status
What is needed to set it up
- A UPI merchant handle through your bank or payment provider
- Access to dynamic QR or payment request APIs
- Status callback configuration
Good to know
- A static QR shows who was paid but not which bill. A dynamic QR per bill makes automatic matching possible.
- UPI rules are set by NPCI and change from time to time, including limits and which request types are allowed. We build around the currently supported methods.
- Any charges depend on your bank or provider and the type of transaction.
