We connect Biomax attendance terminals to employee attendance and payroll records in your system.
A biometric terminal on the wall records who came in and when, but those punches are only useful once they become attendance, late marks, overtime and salary. Without a connection, someone downloads the punches, cleans them in a spreadsheet and types the result into payroll. Connecting the device removes that monthly exercise and the errors that come with it.

How it works
- Each employee is enrolled on the device, and their device ID is linked to their employee record in the system.
- When an employee punches in or out, the device stores the time and, where the device supports it, sends it to the system over the network.
- The system receives or collects the punches and records them against the right employee and location.
- Shift rules turn raw punches into present, absent, late, half-day and overtime.
- At month end, the finalised attendance feeds payroll, and missed punches go through an approval before any correction.

What is needed to set it up
- A Biomax device with network connectivity or an export mechanism
- Employee enrolment mapped to system employee IDs
- Shift and weekly-off rules configured first
Good to know
- Fingerprint and face templates stay on the device. The system receives only the employee ID and punch time.
- Devices keep punches in their own memory during a network outage and send them once connected, so a short outage does not lose data.
- The device clock must be correct. We check time synchronisation during setup, because a wrong clock produces wrong late marks.
